How do you peel a boiled egg without breaking the skin?
Answers: do you mean not breaking the egg white or the clear film over the egg white? If you are talking the egg white don't drop your eggs into the water till it is boiling the boil for only fifteen minutes. When the fifteen minutes is up pour out the boiling water and set the pot under cold running water for five minutes. then carefully crack the shell and peel really slowly. Hope that helps. good luck very slowly and carefully- try rolling it on a hard surface gently first to break up the shell YOu'll get lots of answrs with lots of little tricks but using NON fresh eggs is the best way to start. STICK IT UP YOUR A.S.S!!!!!!!!!
HA HA HA!!!!!!!! as soon as you finnish put it stright in cold water it works I thought someone said letting it soak in vinegar would eat the outer shell, but I could be wrong. I've heard it helps if you add vinegar or salt to the water when you're boiling it. I've also been told that the freshest eggs are the hardest to peel since they break up. add salt to the water when boiling the egg, makes the shell harder.
then roll the reg back n forth on a hard surface to break up the shell n get the egg without the skin broken! First you start with older eggs. The older the better. Place eggs in pan and cover with water. Put on burner and turn up heat. Once the water comes to a rapid boil remove from heat and cover pan. Let sit 15 minutes.
Pour hot water off and imerge into a bowl of ice and cold water. Once the eggs are cool peel.
Good luck. This usually works for me. boil the eggs slowly at a simmer for 1 hour...then plunge them into an ice bath for 15 minutes. this will cause the egg inside to contract beautifully so they peel sweetly! after boiling the eggs places in bowel of ice water lots of ice until the eggs a cold
