Is it ok to have a bake sale in a park?!

Question:

Is it ok to have a bake sale in a park?

Answers: it depends on whether or not your local parks and rec deptartment have rules against "soliciting" in a public location.
Or you may only need a permit to sell(/sale). Consult your local governments website to be sure.. probably want to ask the stipulations your city code has on that You need to call your city or county (which ever governs that particular pard) and ask them. It would depend on the rules in your area. If it's run by or associated with the park. You have to ask permission first. yeh yeh sure!! why not??
theres always ppl in the park..do it on a hot day! with drinks on the side lol
ur bound 2 get loadsa people!!

go for it!!
best of luck!
xoxoxoxoxoxox Yes sure why not. yea the park is for the public so you can do whatever you want You will likely need a permit to do so. Apply early as they can take a while to be approved. Where I live, you need a permit to have a garage sale! you should probley ask the city no, they might kick you out. (no lie happened to me) I would think yes. The park where I live in Altanta people sell things all the time. I would call the park authority to double check though before just setting up. You don't want to get a ticket if it is against the law. you need a licence Check with the city and if you can have one, but I wouldnt because of being outside and the bugs.
Ewwww! Can you imagine what a stuck bug on a cake would look like?
You wouldnt be able to sell anymore after that!
OOOOOppppsss! You would have to get permission from whomever is responsible for managing it. Normally they will send you a form to complete and mail in or bring by. They will then send you something official, granting you permission (or saying no) You would probably need permission, if not for selling goods, for selling baked goods. I would recommend trying a local church or school. These seem to be places where they get away with bake sales. You might be able to work a deal out where you split the money and give them some of the profit. Maybe you can make your money back for cost and then split profits 50/50! No its not....you will get a $10,000 fine if caught, and jail time..... i dunno, depending on where you live, you may need a license to sell anything in the park. i guess for health reasons. I don't see why not. If you decide to do it i wish you the best of luck. sure it's ok. have fun :) It depends on you City rules and no "open" UN sealed things.
Like everything has to be packaged.
Really Stupid i know.
but I talked to a cop once because i was selling popcorn and it was really Stupid lol.
