Mcdonalds fried have meat in them!?
I went on the official mcdonalds site and it says they have beef flavoring, but my mom is telling me the manager told her they don't. She could be making that up. Does beef flavoing mean meat? Do they have actual meat in the fries?

wrong word lol. No, not real meat.....as was mentioned, it was probably somethign like buillion cubes....which is used in a lot of veggie soups for the broth too (something to note if you are a vegatarian).
McDonald's and many other fast food chains are in the process of changing the oils and some other ingredients going into their food now anyway, so you may be getting mixed answers about what is acutally in them as of right now. Also not all of the branches are changing at the same rate. ewww...mcdonalds is effed up. gross!!!!!!!!!! maybe they do maybe they dont...i dont really wanna know haha =] They used to use beef flavoring, something like a crushed up beef bouon cube in there fries. Some veagen sude them, so im not sure they still use it. The info you looked at may be out dated. Really you shouldnt be eating that stuff anyways. um... no. i believe mcdonald's used to make fries, fried in animal fat. since the whole transfat scare, they have swtiched to veggie oil (not sure which one, canola or other) but, they no longer use animal fat.
