Have you ever ate squirrel?!

Question:

Have you ever ate squirrel?

Answers: Eaten it and cooked it many times.

My grandfather use to make a Mulligan stew every winter. He would cook it in a hug cast iron pot, I mean huge pot (the pot they used when butchering a pig) on a fire in the yard. It had squirrel, potatoes, onions, carrots, celery and tomatoes in it. And lots of hot sauce. Sooooo good.

We use to fry squirrels like chicken all the time, too. tastes good! boil it a bit before frying I stewed a squirrel I shot when I was twelve with my uncle. It was pretty decent. yes, look out for the shot. Tastes good! We fried them like you would chicken. Very mild flavor. Yes. Perhaps its a southern thing...They are very tasty if prepared correctly. Typically they are cut up (much like a chicken) in pieces, dredged in flour, and then fried in hot oil. no the only knd of meat i eat is boneless chicken Yes, I did! :-) in america i really dont think thaty squirrel is an optional food unless you are under the categorie of starvation. thats just my opinion squarrl and dumplins Yummy. It is a southern thing.. The scriptures warn us tht the squirrel is an unclean animal & unfit for human cionsumption. i stay away from it! it's like a pretty rat with a long fluffy tail.
