Why doesn't milk quench your thirst?!

Question:

Why doesn't milk quench your thirst?

I was told that, although you desire to drink milk / a milkshake, regardless how much you drink, you'll still be thirsty.

Answers: water does not have any fats or corbohydrates and it get obsorbed by metabolic process but milk is contains 3-5% of fat so again it requires water to get metabolised.
to maintain sodium and potassium level in the body water is required.
Sorry, after two days I will definetly give you correct answer, my mail address is "makader_99@hotmail.com" if you feel like giving me yours then I will give you exact medically proved answer. not sure dont drink milk....try water that seems to do it. idk
try water I drink milk frequently when I'm thirsty and it quenches my thirst just fine.
(I've never tried a milkshake when I was thirsty, as I view that as more of a dessert than a drink) Its probably not all true. Anyways, it will fill you up and make your thirst better. Milk has a bunch of fat 1%-2% and fat free etc.... Milk is mostly water though and will most likely quench your thirst depending on the fat % It works for me. Milk quenches my thirst just fine.
