Question:

Attention all shoppers!!which is the least expensive fruit to buy?which is the most expensive?

Answers: that probly depends on where you live.
in delaware where i live we have a farmers market that is open fri-sun. they have super cheap prices on fruit. apples $.99 a lb. grapes same. squashes $.49 a lb, grapefruit 3-4 for $2or 3 at a time....

generaly speaking in the stores it seems that apples and grapes are cheaper than other fruit. berries are the most expensive... i'm assuming bcse they are seasonal.

oh i almost forgot $.29 - .39 a lb for bananas i think bananas are usually the cheapest.

not sure about the most expensive... depends on the season. Depends on what grows in your area. Fruit, if it travels far, will be more expensive. Most tropical fruits generally tend cost more. Pomegranates usually run for 2 for 5 in MI for example. I would say bananas are the cheapest and fresh pinapple would be the most expensive This all depends how farming is going. If the farmers aren't having a good season for their fruits then your fruits are going to be more expensive. If it floods or if there is a drought then they may not have a good harvest then things are more expensive. Also now with gas/fuel prices so high prices for all foods are going to increase.
I think bananas are pretty cheap here.
Clementines and pineapples are usually expensive here.
