when bread gets stale, it gets hard. why do crutons get soft when they are stale?


Answers: because they are dried baked bread and they absorb moisture from the air when left out Humidity. did you know how the tell the difference between cookies and cake

cookies go soft when stale
cake goes hard

jaffa cakes are classed as cake because the go hard when stale even though you would think they were a cookie
