Candy Prices in 1948?!

Candy Prices in 1948?

I believe the Almond Joy was introduced in 1948, but can anybody tell me any prices of candy / candy bars from that year? I am having trouble searching on this topic. Thanks!!


Answers: I seem to remember that it was 5 cents, Cigarettes were 23 cent a pack you put a quarter in the machine and out came your smokes with 2 pennies taped on the package. they would at least be 50 cents at the most.a starting price would be 15 or 25 cents .
