Why hot dogs come in packages of 8 and the buns come in packs of 10?

Answers: It has nothing to do with spending more money (buns and dogs are almost never mafde by the same company) in fact rather than conspiring it's actually lack of communication that's the problem:
Bakers measure in increments of 8 (in fact the trays they use bake them in links of 4 which they place atop one another) and butchers measure by the pound.....this usually works out to 8 buns and 10 dogs. I always Say it's because they want us to keep spending all of our money on their products. Theyr'e all Evil! they dont

Wonder Bread has been packaging 8 buns to a pack for at least 8 years

http://www.wonderbread.com/newproducts.a... It is annoying!! Use the extra buns to make garlic bread. So you will always have enough dough left over when you're done eating your meat. Where I live, the hot dogs come in 10, and the buns come in 8. I have always said the bread company want us to have to purchase more of their product. It would be vise versa for you,LOL! idoits lmfao idk probably cause at least two buns always get smashed in the grocery bag
ive been in a hot dog mood for the past week : / Oscar mayer comes in a 10 pack of hot dogs, and the buns at come in an 8 pack..I have never seen a 10 pack of buns it is either 8 or 12 Just buy 5 packs of dogs, and 4 packs of buns. Then invite 39 friends over and you'll be fine. But really, I wish I had a better answer for you, I've been pondering this question myself for some time.
