Is it OK for people with a fast metabolism to eat lots of cheese and fatty foods?!

Question:

Is it OK for people with a fast metabolism to eat lots of cheese and fatty foods?

Answers: Not exactly, you might not gain much weight because you burn it into energy..

BUT you will get whats called "SATURATED FATS" (saturated fats stick to your insides and metabolism does not effect this) in your body into places such as your arteries, heart (elevated cholesterol level), brain and organs which can cause many problems such as heart attacks and strokes in the future.

You will also slow down blood flow within the body which can decrease your athletic performance or even reduce penile blood flow effecting sexual performance or even brain fatigue because of a decrease in blood supply. scary stuff....

Just remember as long as you don't consume fatty foods excessively you don't have much to worry about so don't go all anorexic on me dude. if you continuously eat fats you will increase your chances of these problems but you have to consume them in extreme large quantities to be in any serious danger like some of the stuff i mentioned.

you might not gain weight for the time being but as you get older about 30+ certain hormones such as growth hormone and testosterone decrease wile estrogen remains elevated and your metabolism starts to slow down gradually... then you might need to take it slower on the fats.

cheese and dairy food is good for a young man as they contain essential calcium for bone density and could even help you grow taller. An increase in Fats is essential if doing an enduring sports such as bodybuilding and running long distances.

Just remember just because you have a fast metabolism with a skinny or muscular build it does not mean just because you are not doing damage on the outside, it does not necessarily mean your don't do damage internally on the inside. Source(s):
Knowledge and biology my father in law's girlfriend does and she's skinny as a rail and has been all her life lol. She's in her mid 40's and all she eat's (for the most part) is fast food and she has never ever weighed over 110 lbs. So I suppose it all depends on genetics and metabolism. In moderation, remember your metabolism will eventually slow down, so you don't want to get in the habit of eating junk.....once you start it is hard to stop. Besides, those foods cause other problems...not just obesity. It's something that you can get away with for now, however, you should be eating more nutritious foods to stay healthy. Eventually, your metabolism will not be as fast - it happens to all of us! Anyone can eat lots of cheese and fatty foods. If you just want to stay skinny then do it in moderation, because eventually you will be accustomed to eating a certain way and the weight can catch up to you. How soon do you want to die? Yes. One of my friends could eat a buffet and not gain any weight. His exercise/activity of choice is walking a couple of miles or hiking a few hours.

I should be so lucky...
