MSG (Monosodium Glutamate)?!

Question:

MSG (Monosodium Glutamate)?

From my understanding...it's something that is in some foods, and some chefs add to their food to enhance flavor...right? Well I was wondering why Doritos always gave me a headache. So I was looking at the ingrediants and thats what I found; MSG. So my question is does it just give you headaches or does it actually damage the brain?

Answers: It does not cause brain damage. Many people have a slight allergic reaction to MSG and report symptoms like headache or upset stomach. To learn more, click on the link below.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/monosodium_... i guess it will damage the brain over time if there's constant build-up of MSG--definitely depends on how often you eat MSG snacks/food. if i eat foods with too strong MSG, i will get headaches too--and boycott eating from that particular stall or boycott the snack :D

hope you do the same--i do love doritos once in awhile, though... :)
