How do you keep a cake fresh?!

Question:

How do you keep a cake fresh?

My daughter's bday party in in two days and I had to pick up the cake today. I don't have any room in my freezer to freeze it so should I keep it in the fridge or keep it out? I have it in a closed box right now and in the fridge. What should I do??

Answers: Keep it in the fridge. Take it out a few minutes before serving so it wont be ice cold. Source(s):
Made the cake for my nephews party today. Saving it until Tomorrow! keep it in the fridge or freezer this is a silly question because everyone kown u should keep it cover. Keep it in the fridge and if possible place it in an air tight container. If you have trays in fridge place it on the very bottom its not as cold there and it may stay fresher. Plus your daughter will enjoy her birthday no matter what the cake is like its the ice cream that counts. Have fun and enjoy the day with your daughter (Wont be long till they are asking you to come over and celebrate the kids birthday time flies.) try 2 make some room in the fridge or freezer. then wake up in the A.M. the day of her bday and put it out on the counter so it defrosts a little, or wrap it up in foil and keep it on the counter room temperatured. good luck! ;)
