whats the difference between yogurt and sour cream?????? how are they made or what is it that makes them taste different, the ingredients are virtually the same..

Yogurt is made from milk.
Sour cream is made from cream.
They both are fermented by bacteria that produce lactic acid (from using lactose- a sugar in all dairy products) which is how they get their consistency and tanginess. The difference is that sour cream contains a lot more fat (and isnt sweetened or flavored to sell).
