I've had a buffalo/bison burger out in the plains and it was pretty good.

I live here in Montana next to an Indian reservation that raises buffalo and sells it to the public. I love both for burgers. Did you know that venison makes an excellent lean hamburger as well? We have elk and deer on hand and eat it regularly. But I won't touch antelope to save my life. It is the gamiest tasting meat I've ever had. Out here we call them speed goats and goat is what they taste like. Yuk!
