What about "honey"?

Answers:

Yes it is. If you are talking about commercial or home made shelf-stable jam. These kinds of jam have sufficient pectin and sugar to bind free water that bacteria need to grow. The only potential problem would be mold growth. If you eat the jam regularly and no mold shows up, it is fine. If you see signs of mold colonies forming (very rare), you will need to throw it away.
