What about a fruit crumble with an ice-cream. Its not too rich or heavy, and personally I wouldn't want to eat anything too creamy or rich after a roast dinner.

However, at the same time, a light dessert wouldn't really be appropriate either.

I think a fruit crumble with an ice-cream would be perfect, something sweet and very tasty, to fill the gaps that the chicken missed.
