Why does Splenda fizz when I put it in my milk?!

Question:

Why does Splenda fizz when I put it in my milk?

Answers:

Well they use all kinds of chemicals (including
bleach) to make it, so who knows? Its actually chlorinated sucralose (they replace part of the sugar with chlorine) Its manufactured in a chemical plant. A bulking agent is added (don't know what that is exactly) The chlorine is why you think/taste sweet, much like the ingedient in anti-freeze.

So you are pouring pool chemicals into your milk, that might be why its foaming.
