Artificial sweeteners?!

Question:

Artificial sweeteners?

especially compare Splenda and Sweet-n-Low
Equal and Stevia would be next helpful

ANYTHING about them you want, but not website links

Answers:

Well, Splenda can cause gastro-intestinal side effects for some folks. Gas, cramps, diarrhea.
Equal or aspertame was never intended to be used in the amounts we see it used today. I've seen articles that stated that it can cause neurological damage by interfering with the myelin sheath that coats our neurons. Personally, I get migraine if I eat anything with nutrasweet.
Sweet-n Low just tastes nasty to me, with an wicked aftertaste. It was proven way back in the 70's to contribute to increased bladder cancer in male rats.
Stevia is the most natural of them all, derived from an herb. It is SUPER sweet. Only a tiny drop is needed to sweeten a cup of tea.

I think I'll stick with sugar or honey, thanks.
