If I buy a reduced salt product, why does it cost more?!


Question:

If I buy a reduced salt product, why does it cost more?

Shouldn't it cost less?
I mean they are using less salt to make the product.
The manufacturing couldn't cost more.
It's the same with reduced sugar and reduced fat.

Keep in mind that almost all natural foods contain little salt (less than 1/100 of a teaspoon)
Salt is added to foods during processing.
