Aren't nuts classified as a fruit?!

Question:

Aren't nuts classified as a fruit?

they grow on trees and they are of the plant kingdom.

Answers:

yes a nut is the fruit of the tree.so technically a nut is considerd a fruit. in order to propregate ,a plant has to produce fruit that contains the life of the plant,in plants where the foliage is edible the fruit is in seed form .making it a vegetable. in plants where the plant is inedible the fruit is larger and edible with the seed being inside making it a fruit.
its all for the purpose of attracting animals and or humans so that when they pick and or eat the plant or the fruit of the plant the seed part will be scattered.and therefore be replanted .
