Brak wants to know, "Why people eat less salads in the wintertime?"?!

Question:

Brak wants to know, "Why people eat less salads in the wintertime?"?

Answers:

Lack of fresh produce may be a factor, but salads seem to be summer food--cool and light.

I think people prefer hotter, heavier food in the wintertime. Stoke up on calories in order to battle the elements.
