Does the jarred minced garlic in water & phosphoric acid have the same good properties as mincing it fresh?!

Question:

Does the jarred minced garlic in water & phosphoric acid have the same good properties as mincing it fresh?

I know mincing your own fresh, letting it sit a while, then using is supposed to have good health benefits, but I wonder if the store-bought minced (a time saver) has the same benefits? I'm trying to use as much as possible to maintain good blood pressure. Plus I love the flavor anyway!

Answers:

Store bought minced garlic has a taste. If you can avoid using it and mincing your own, it is was better. The store bought will last longer in your fridge because of the preservatives but it tastes different. Anything fresh is always better. Do a taste comparison and see for yourself.
