Can mangoes and watermelon be eaten together?!

Can mangoes and watermelon be eaten together?

My mom says that I cant, but wont explain why. Is it some kind of myth?


Answers:

When you asked her "why not", did you get "because I said so"? You can eat them together, but their textures are so different it might feel weird.
