Why does whole milk cost more than 2%, 1%, etc...?!

Question:

Why does whole milk cost more than 2%, 1%, etc...?

If whole milk is processed less than the others, shouldn't whole milk cost less?

Answers:

That would make sense would it? Well, I have a theory...the media or something like that has us, the public believing that whole milk is THE best milk to buy. So, imagine yourself as a CEO of a dairy company and you want to turn a profit...you know the public believes that whole milk is THE best milk available. Well, since it's so popular...we'll charge more! They'll still buy it!

Trust me, if you can get the public to believe that even camel milk is great through advertising, you can charge $5 a gallon, and it'll fly right out of the coolers. The only thing more remarkable than the stupidity of the consumers, is the brilliance of the marketers.
