Raw Chicken Left out for a couple hours, is it safe to eat?!

Question:

Raw Chicken Left out for a couple hours, is it safe to eat?

Earlier in the day I took out a piece of frozen chicken and left it on the counter. Thinking I would be home in a couple of hours to cook it, I was mistaken. Its been 6-7 hours and the chicken is soft and warm, still has water dripping. Is it safe to eat?

Answers:

Please throw this piece meat away as soon as possible and clean off the surface it was on. chicken is one of the most dangerous meats for bacteria.
next time you want to thaw something use defrost on your microwave. letting any food sit out to defrost is risky because this cause bacteria to grow. you may not be able to see or smell bacteria but I could really make you sick if you eat food with it.
