What are the advantages/disadvantages of using food flavors in liquid form?!

Question:

What are the advantages/disadvantages of using food flavors in liquid form?

Our company is currently using flavors in powder form for our shakes. I'm exploring the possibility of using liquid flavors.

Answers:

OK, I have read your full question and believe I know what you are asking and why. I think there's something called integrity in additive flavourings, and in liquid form this is somehow better maintained. A powder can leave a chalky residue of a taste. It's worth finding out the difference in flavours, texture, so getting together a marketing survey would be good way to start with that. Find out what the public prefer before you change your recipe.
