What is the most delicious way to cook sausage?
I need a recipe because we're haing a party for Buk's return.

PASTA WITH SAUSAGE AND CREAM SAUCE
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 lbs. sweet Italian sausage, casings removed
2 c. heavy cream
1 c. dry white wine
1 tbsp. minced fresh parsley
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
12 oz. pasta, cooked al dente and drained
1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. minced fresh parsley
In large skillet, melt butter. Stir in sausage and fry until brown. Remove sausage and drain grease. Return sausage to skillet and stir in cream, wine, 1 tablespoon parsley, nutmeg and 1/2 cup Parmesan. Simmer for 3-4 minutes. Place pasta in heated serving dish and stir in 2 tablespoons of sausage mixture and remaining 1/2 cup Parmesan. Toss until pasta is coated. Pour remaining sausage mixture over pasta. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon parsley. here is a dish that is so sweet and fresh it can never fail to please. 6 servings.

ITALIAN SAUSAGE AND PEPPERS
2 lb. Italian link sausage
6 to 8 green peppers, sliced in strips
6 med. onions, sliced
1 lb. mushrooms, sliced (optional)
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 c. white wine
1 tbsp. oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Separate links of sausage and prick with a fork. Place in Dutch oven with 1/2 inch of water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until all water has evaporated and sausages have given up some of their fat and are lightly browned all over. Drain fat from pan. Cut sausages into smaller pieces about 1 1/2 inches long. Add wine, garlic powder, basil, oil and oregano. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes. Top with green peppers, mushrooms and onions. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and mix well. Cover and simmer another 30 minutes or until sausage is done, stirring occasionally.
(Recipe can also be prepared in 350 degree oven).

POTATO SAUSAGE CASSEROLE
1 lb. bulk pork sausage
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. peeled and sliced raw potatoes
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Chopped fresh parsley
Brown sausage, drain, and set aside. Combine soup, milk, onion, salt and pepper. In a greased 2-quart casserole, layer half of the potatoes, half of the soup mixture and half of the sausage. Repeat, ending with sausage. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender. Sprinkle with cheese, return to oven uncovered for 2 to 3 minutes or until the cheese melts. Garnish with parsley.
Makes 6 servings.
