Is this too much to eat for today?
Breakfast:
A chocolate glazed donut
Lunch:
3 grilled shrimp
About a tablespoon of tuna salad
A wheat tortilla [50 calories]
A few bites of spaghetti
Half of a SMALL chicken patty
Snacks:
5 carrots
4 blueberries[dont you love how i keep track :) ]
a chocolate chip cookie [60 cals]
a 3 muskateers bar [about 240 calories]
i know i let myself splurge a bit today, but is this too much to eat for today?
i might have some dinner later.
i already walked 3/4 miles & i'll probably swim and/or go walking later.

ABOUTT MY LUNCH:::
we had shrimp leftovers, so i microwaved 3 of them
and then got some tuna out and ate it with a tortilla
somebody else had a chicken patty[which is not breaded] & spaghetti
so i took half of a patty and a few bites of spaghetti

I have to say that walking does burn calories- alot of calories. It was even proven that speed walking will burn more than running because of the long duration it can last.
From personal experiece, when I walk, I don't "barely lose one calorie", however I burn alot.
Answers:
I would be more concerned about what you're eating, and mixing together. Why shrimp and tuna salad AND spaghetti AND a chicken patty? Are you cleaning up after the kids?
Skip the donut for breakfast. It won't keep you satisfied and, if you're trying to lose weight, have something that's better for you. If you're looking for something fast, get yogurt. The Yoplait lights are yummy! Spaghetti is probably better to skip all together (unless it's wheat pasta). Chicken patty tells me that it's breaded and probably fried.
You did great with snacks, even with the 3 Musketeers.
You're not getting enough good calories to support your exercise. Get plenty of fiber. You should at least 1200 calories a day, if you want to lose weight, and 1600 to maintain. Send me an email if you want some menu suggestions from weight watchers.
