Quick and easy snacks and lunches a very picky and lazy 10yo boy?!

Question:

Quick and easy snacks and lunches a very picky and lazy 10yo boy?

I have a 10 year old step son who is very very lazy and a really picky eater.Like most kids he will only eat a few different things without argument...pizza,spaghetti,pea... butter & jelly, cheeseburgers and french fries, hot cheetos,hotdogs...He is lazy about making something to eat,if it involves more than a few steps he wont be bothered with it.he will go the entire day without eating because he doesnt feel like it.Should I just leave him alone and let him live on pb&js?
What do your children like to make on their own?

Answers:

I went through the ten year old, eating-not eating jag, my child is twelve and has developed a monstrous appetite, now he eats anything and everything all the live long day. But two years ago, I had the same problem of getting healthy food into him.

Ants on the log: Three inch pieces of celery filled with peanut butter and dark raisins lined across the peanut butter.

Microwave baked potato: It takes 2-4minute sessions to create a great baked potato, I keep shredded cheese, sour cream, butter and low calorie butter substitutes. I also keep plenty of olives, green and black for the pizza type baked potatoes.

English muffin types pizzas: English muffins, Mozzarella cheese, Jar Spaghetti sauce, Pineapple chunks, pepperoni, Bologna, Parmesan cheese, let him have at it,

Instant rice pudding: A cup of cooked (leftover) rice, raisins, a couple of tablespoons of cool whip, cinnamon and nutmeg, 1 minute in the microwave to bring the rice back to life again, add all of the other ingredients and watch the food vanish.
I taught the first lesson, and I clean up behind the rest, whether I want to or not.
