Is it true that ants don't like honey?!

Question:

Is it true that ants don't like honey?

I once heard that to test if honey is pure and genuine, you can see it that ants won't eat that. Can anyone confirm this theory?

Answers:

I could safely confirm that they would eat the honey, despite if it is genuine or not. My dad get honey from bees in our backyard and we have a little shed dedicated to spinning out honey. It is delicious becuase we don't do any processing to it and the ants still want it badly.
