How do I become A Restaurante Inspector?

I live in Seminole County Florida and I have decided that I want to become a restaurante Inspector. I have done a google search but I haven't found anything about how to become one. Can anyone help???


Answers:

First, depending on your state / county, you'll need a degree in a science/health related field.
Then, contact your area's local dept. of health. They will be more than willing to explain the remainder of the process. This is not a glamorous position, & you can not use it to "get back" at a restaurant that you don't like. There are very strict guidelines, and the pay is not very good.
