Can anyone shed some light on how frozen foods are prepared?!

Question:

Can anyone shed some light on how frozen foods are prepared?

And yes, I know at some point they're frozen. But I am looking for details on mass production. I mean the foods taste awesome and I am wondering how they achieve such taste in such high quantities.

Answers:

The food is prepared as usual, as in a frozen dinner or a frozen burrito. Then it is conveyed to a blast freezer. The spiral track the food is on, is timed to expose the product to a fixed amount of time and temperature. Usually around -75 to -90f for about 45mins to an hour.
