Why do Hotdogs?!

Why do Hotdogs?

have 10 in a pack whereas hotdog buns only have 8 ?


Answers:

in the old days before hotdogs were packaged people had to order them from their deli or butcher and hot dog rolls came in 8 per package. they should probably just have 10 hot dog buns in a package from now on.
