How does Magic Shell harden?

I know its cause of the freezing temp of ice cream, but how come Magic Shell and not stuff like Hersheys?


Answers:

Magic shell is mostly fat and flavoring. when the shell hits the cold ice cream it solidifies. It's like how shortening is solid at room temperature and liquid when heated. put magic shell in the refrigerator and it will harden.
