Is sea salt healthier for you than iodized salt?
Answers:
It depends on what type it is, when I was a chef we used different one, some are now more popular and are now refered to as finishing salts, if it is one from a natural evaporation process like the french Grey Salt or the Dorchester type from the UK.
It has more minerals, no iodine and is less saturated in the sodium components, table salt is force from under ground with high pressure water and the brine is dehydrated with heat then packaged, with natural based ones from Europe, Hawaii, the UK and and even the Far East, they are done by just letting the air and sea brezes take away the moisture, you may have seen it on TV, places were they sift the seawater and piles of salt are collected.
Is it better for you, not much, but it does have some benefits over regular salt, but just bearly.
