Would you still eat foods that are imported from China?

can people still trust China's food products to be clean and without any harmful chemicals included?

I heard that the US and other countries had banned their food, would you still risk eating any of their food products?

There has been some hinky stuff done to our food and to petfood. I read an article that food vendors were using soaked cardboard as a meat filling for pies and dumplings in Beijing. I have 2 relatives with ecoli and a friend with listeria. I am sticking with the US foods for now and eating produce from my garden too.
