I think it depends on what you are doing with the fruit; eating it, holding it, cutting it up... Also, it depends on the kind of fruit. Say you were lugging a watermelon in a picture... maybe not so cute. Something along the lines of strawberries or yes, peaches, would be considered, personally, more "cute fruit". I suppose if it were a child it would look more "cute" also. Babies with anything are usually cute =)
