I missed bran muffin day again, didn't I?

As long as I am alive and well, you'll never miss Bran Muffin Day again...somewhere, across the wide wide world, in every time zone of every nation, little gatherings of the faithful observe the day in ways appropriate to their customs. In my country, melted butter is carried in procession and raisins are distributed to each participant. Some smaller island nations, however, keep a Bran Muffin in a sealed glass reliquary... v. necessary since the supply ship visits are 6 months apart and the sin of Staleness must be avoided.

Then there is the Cinnamon Cult...but we'll save that for another day.
