Is it possible to make Cheese out of Human Milk?!

Question:

Is it possible to make Cheese out of Human Milk?

I've often wondered this and what it would be like. Has it been done? Is it part of any culture?

To the person who cited rennet as being a problem, you can get Vegetarian rennet in health food shops.

Answers:

Yes, it's definitely possible - any milk can be treated to make cheese.
First pasteurise your milk, then add your starter culture and allow the milk to ripen. Add a coagulant enzyme such as rennet, than after cutting and stirring the coagulant you can eventaully separate the curds from the whey. This is the stage at which you need to add salt, before moulding & pressing your cheese into shape, wrapping it and then storing to allow maturation.

Two questions:
1. but why would you want to?
2. and if you do go ahead with large scale commercialisation, how to I apply for the milking parlour manager's job? ;-)
