Should I keep my yeast in freezer?!

Question:

Should I keep my yeast in freezer?

I've heard that it's wise, but i'm not totally sure about that.

Answers:

It's great! It extends the shelf life of yeast by another three or four months beyond the expiration date. I've even used really OLD yeast I accidently left in the freezer (a year beyond the expiration) and it works.

Do let it sit on the counter for a while before you are ready to use it.
