What's your favorite Japanese meal?!

Question:

What's your favorite Japanese meal?

Please describe it to us.

Answers:

1. Okinawa Soba. It is a noodle soup available on the island of Okinawa in the southernmost part of Japan. The noodles are much thicker than soba noodles in other parts of Japan.

2. Donburi. Fluffy steamed rice in a heavy stoneware bowl. A layer of steamed vegetables is placed on top of the rice. Then a layer of cooked breaded meat is placed on top of the vegies. A stoneware lid goes on top of the bowl and it is put in the oven for a little while. The juices from the vegies and meat trickle down into the rice. Oh, awesome!!!
My favorite is pork donburi (in Japanese language katsudon or katsu donburi).
