What part of th egg is healthiest? the white part or the yellow part?


Answers:

Depends on what you are trying to do: The white has virtually no nutritional value compared to the yellow. Its less fattening though. If you're trying to get sustenence, eat the yellow, thats where all the food is. The white is just a barrier basically for the embryo, but the yolk is the infertile egg and its food. The yolk is also less likely to have bacteria in it. If there is bacteria, it usually lives in the void at the pointed end. I suggest eating the whole thing cooked well, however.
