Are King crab legs high in cholesterol?!

Question:

Are King crab legs high in cholesterol?

Answers:

According to the website below, 3.5 ounces (100 mg) of steamed/boiled king crab has 53 mg of cholesterol.

As a comparison, a large egg is about 50 mg and has 213 mg of cholesterol.

So you can eat 14 ounces of cooked King Crab meat to get the equivalent cholesterol of 1 large egg.

I'll take the King Crab over the egg anytime!
However, I do have to watch out for all of that clarified butter. :-)
