How do they keep different flavors separated in one container?!

Question:

How do they keep different flavors separated in one container?

A good example would be such as, nepolitian ice cream, when they have 3 flavors but they arent mixed...how is this done?

Answers:

Mass-produced Neopolitan ice cream is made by freezing each flavor separately until it is like soft-serve ice cream, then injecting all three flavors at the same time into the cartons from three different injectors.
