In a frozen entree, do you think that chefs actually prepare whole roasts?!

Question:

In a frozen entree, do you think that chefs actually prepare whole roasts?

(I asked this because a dietition told me that 'TV dinners are a balanced meal')???

For example are there whole turkeys, roast beefs, pot roasts, etc. sitting around, and being cut up? Are real fish cleaned, cooked, breaded and deep fried for fish sticks?

How about in those healthy or lose-weight entrees? They cost a lot more, is the food really food?

Answers:

Those frozen entrees are made in factories. They cook HUGE amounts of food at a time, and it's mostly automated. It wouldn't be cost effective to only cook a little bit at once. Watch "Unwrapped" on FoodNetwork. They show how lots of different food items are made!
