How come water bottles have clear caps now?!


Question:

How come water bottles have clear caps now?

i first noticed it like a year and a half ago on a poland springs bottle , but then i saw them on all of the brands. I remember it always being white.

I know this is kinda of a weird question , but im wondering

The new bottle caps are made of recycled plastic.
