Are adult bodies made to digest milk products?!

Question:

Are adult bodies made to digest milk products?

would anyone, even people who aren't lactose intolerant, have a small amount of problems if they pigged out big time on cheese or ice cream?

Answers:

Lactose intolerance is different for cheese than for milk - I developed a lactose intolerance for milk and ice cream but I have no problems with cheese. Same thing for my husband - his is milder, he can tolerate small quantities of milk or ice cream, no problems with cheese.

But, based on experience as an adult pigging out on Coldstone Creamery before I became intolerant - no problems occurred that couldn't be erased with a lot of exercise ;-)
