Dark Chocolate contains more chocolate liquor(which is roasted and ground cocoa beans) usually in the 65% to 70% range than Bittersweet or Milk Chocolate. Bittersweet chocolate is in the 56% to 65% chocolate range. Milk chocolate has the least amount of chocolate. That is why Dark has much stronger flavor than the others.
