I don't understand how maggots get in beef?!

I don't understand how maggots get in beef?

Can someone explain. The beef turns in to maggots? They were always in there? Huh?


Answers:

A maggot is the larval stage of the fly life cycle, famous for eating decomposing flesh. A fly lands on the beef, lays eggs, after 8-20 hours the maggots hatch from the eggs, and WHAMMO, you have a big crop of maggots there.
