Can bananas be frozen?!

Question:

Can bananas be frozen?

To use in a shakes or something...they get brown so fast in the summer.

Answers:

Yes of course! You don't even have to peel them, just put them in a plastic container and freeze. If you are making a smoothie then don't even bother defrosting, just stick them straight in the blender. Or you can bake with them instead, but you will have to defrost then. If you do that, put the bananas in a bowl as they get a bit slimey. Perfectly alright for baking though.
Or take a fresh banana, cut it in half, and insert a popsicle stick. Then dip in melted chocolate and freeze. Really good-enjoy!
